Taste MOMEnts

This traveling exhibition, organized by the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, presents a unique perspective by embracing the projects of the most progressive artists currently active in the Hungarian design scene. MOME has invited internationally acclaimed professional designers - graphic artists, photographers, animation specialists, fashion, jewelry and product designers in their 20s and 30s, to display their work and thus the extraordinary creative potential and intellectual capital with which Hungary has contributed to the development of contemporary design culture.

Taste MOMEnts is none other than a design feast, with scenes that take place on an infinitely long table. It is an invitation to gather around the table of Hungarian design and engage in conversation. Our visual culture, our daily bread is presented in this groundbreaking exhibition. Feast scenes are part of European culture; by pursuing this tradition we wish to share what we have, because a meal enjoyed together always induces conversation. We, Hungarians celebrate by gathering around a table, so let us join one another and share this feeling of belonging, this “here and now” through the act of eating. We have thus laid the table, Hungarian style, with the overwhelming desire to share.
